About this Time Last Year

It was about this time last year that we decided to adopt through foster care and got our orientation information. It's hard to imagine that it was a year ago, because it feels like yesterday. Time is just flying by these days. I continue to look on the adoption website for waiting children in my state, and I feel sad for all the children who were there when I began looking and are still waiting. It's unimaginable to me that a child should have to wait so long for a loving family of thier own. My heart goes out to them.
